Based at Griffith University, Lauren has continuously held National Health and Medical Research Council fellowships since 2014. These awards are the most competitive and prestigious awards for health and medical researchers in Australia. 

Lauren works with health care providers, government bodies and public health organisations to develop innovative solutions to complex problems facing a rapidly changing modern society. Through effective and innovative leadership of multidisciplinary teams, Lauren intuitively identifies the most important challenges and generates solutions that provide a return on investment to funders, consumers and broader society.
