Lauren Ball is a multiple award-winning research and higher education leader. Based at Griffith University, Lauren has continuously held National Health and Medical Research Council fellowships since 2014. These awards are the most competitive and prestigious awards for health and medical researchers in Australia. 

Lauren works with health care providers, government bodies and public health organisations to develop innovative solutions to complex problems facing a rapidly changing modern society. Through effective and innovative leadership of multidisciplinary teams, Lauren intuitively identifies the most important challenges and generates solutions that provide a return on investment to funders, consumers and broader society.

Lauren is a nationally and internationally recognised thought leader who uses a systematic approach to mentor individuals and foster excellence in teams and organisations. She facilitates talented people to understand the value of their work and maximise their potential.
